Granite counter tops

The granite counter tops are being installed.


This one is in a bath off a downstairs bedroom.



The other bathroom downstairs has this small counter top.




The kitchen counter top has lots of variation.



And this is the master bath counter top.




Out back, they are finishing the deck. The plan is to stain the floors a tan color and stain the posts and rails a whitewash white.

This is my desk with the stain on it.



We are having a wall built on the right side of the house at the end of the driveway to deal with the slope.

Painting has started

This is the house as seen from the lake shore.



These are the two tones of paint Gwen has planned for the exterior. She wants to make the lighter shade a little darker. I say... "If you like it, I love it!"



This is the master bedroom. The walls are a light salmon and the ceiling is a light blue.




This is the dining room. Gwen is trying to find a calmer color of red.



This green is in Gwen's craft room.



This strange water bug was seen in the lake on Mother's Day.

The good news is that they have almost finished the deck and stairs.
The not so good news is that the painters were delayed a week.



The big space in the middle will be a screened porch.
