Finishing touches

Here is our new garage door.



They have started work on our dock.




Next week they say we will have a roof on the dock.

Cabinets

These are the cabinets downstairs in the family room.



Behind these doors, Gwen has her china.





The master bath has lots of drawers.





My desk has a nice look with the glass door in the middle.



The living room cabinets have a wavey glass in them.



The kitchen cabinets look good with the rooster "stuff" on it!

Grass!

Here are a few photos of our new yard.



They added dirt to the yard and smoothed out the slope.




It looks different from the last photo that had all that sand and the red dumpster in the yard!






Oreo approves! (Don't worry - we have indoor toilets - the port-o-potty is leaving Monday!)




This is the back yard. The black silt cloth will be taken down this weekend. Now comes the fun part - planting all those plants we bought a year ago!

We are having company!

Our friends from New Bern, NC - Connie and Nic - and their granddaughter, Keely, came to see us over the 4th and to help us unpack. Keely also helped us "test" our pontoon boat.

Keely is standing in our "natural" area between the house and the lake.



Also, my cousin, Carlise, came to see us with his daughter, Laci. They brought us this antique heart pine table that he made in his workshop. Unfortunately, she was not in this picture of the table. Sorry Laci.
