WE ARE MOVED!

We have moved and it is great! Now we just have to unpack about 14 thousand boxes! If the kids and Deb and Mike (Gwen's sis and hubby) had not have helped us, it would have been much tougher, but as it was, it went very smooth.

This classy piece is the bar. Gwen found it at an antique shop and restored it. I cut out the holes for the sink and the faucet and a friend redid the drawer. My brother is doing stained glass pieces to go into the doors on the top part. Most of the glass will be clear.

Drive On!

They put in the driveway today.



The driveway looks good from the front door.



Also they start the supports for the columns on the back. Rock will go over the block.



The tile around the fireplace is done. He is working on the kitchen now. Stay tuned for photos of it tomorrow!

Lets get stoned!

We are getting close. the builder says we can move on 6/26.



The cement has been poured under the deck.



Our gas logs are ready but we sure didn't need them today since it was about 95F!

Wood Floors

This is the wood floor going in the kitchen.



This is the floor in the living room.



This guy is finishing the cement in the garage.



You can see the two tones of paint against the white trim. The cement block at the bottom will be covered by a stone facade.
